GE Foundation

The GE Foundation provides grants and invests in initiatives that work to solve some of the world's most difficult problems. In coordination with our partners, we support health, education, the environment and disaster relief around the globe.

In the UK in recent years the GE Foundation has funded ASDAN and My Future My Choice to develop and manage Build My Future  – an innovative programme for GE volunteers to support 13 and 14 year olds in considering the life balance needed for future happiness and success. This programme has now run in more than 20 schools close to GE locations and is continuing in new locations and with other businesses.

The GE Foundation also made a significant donation to Project Enthuse, the largest ever opportunity for teachers of science to engage in high quality Continuing Professional Development at no cost.

In 2014, the entire GE family (including businesses, employees, retirees and the GE Foundation) contributed £140 million to community organisations in 55 countries.
