We’ve created a box filled with the materials needed to carry out effective STEM outreach and get young people tinkering, making and thinking like engineers. Resources range from wooden building blocks and K’Nex, to Top Trumps jobs card decks and Arduino sensor kits. To make sure our STEM Inspirers know how to use these to deliver activities, the STEM-in-a-Box comes with detailed activity guides and a training plan.
GE sites wanting to receive STEM-in-a-Box must complete a site pledge in partnership with their site leader.
To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk.
